Stress and anxiety relationship

When you talk abou stress you will probably also mention the word anxiety. But why? Is there a relationship between these two words?

Let's start with a basic definition. Anxiety for many is seen as the prelude of stress. First of all you get a sense of uncertainty, perhaps accentuated by fatigue, then you arrive to a point where your body suffers the consequences of this, and this is called stress.

Anxiety is often the first warning signal, one of the symptoms of stress. We are in a situation that can create difficulties, so our body makes us know by sending signals. But we must not forget that the consequence of anxiety is not alwys stress. It can also be caused by many other factors.
